Welcome to the Children’s Ministry of First United Methodist Church!
If you are a visitor, I hope you find the Children’s Ministry a warm and caring place for your children.
To create a nurturing environment of love, acceptance, and praise which will provide the Biblical foundation necessary for children to choose Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
We hope your child will become involved in the following events and make many new friends through the Children’s Ministry.

Worship Services- 8:45AM & 11:00AM
Children’s Church
During both services, children ages 4- kindergarten will leave the Sanctuary for Children’s Church on the first floor in Room 104. Read the bulletin to know when your child will be lead out by a parent volunteer.
Sunday School- 9:45am-10:30am
Curriculum used is as follows:
Babies-2s : Little Blessings
3s,4s and kindergarten: First Look
1st-6th grades: 2:52 Basics
Our Sunday School is based on Luke 2:52 which states, “...and Jesus grew in wisdom, and in favor with God and men.”
With this verse in mind, we want every child to grow up and say:
1. I need to do the WISE thing.
2.. I can TRUST God no matter what.
3. I should TREAT OTHERS the way I want to be treated.
